GatorNation,

Thanks for the comment and suggestion, but hear me out.

There are 146-programs in the Smoaky.com coverage area.

There will always be someone who "should" be on the list.

However, there are two players currently in the poll on defense from Frankston.

I receive nominations from membership, scour dozens of box scores and summaries and receive feedback from dozens of coaches each week.

This week, Frankston sent four nominations on defense.

I discussed the four nominations with Coach Wells and decided on the two that are in the poll.

Coach Wells is one of the best at sending nominations week-in and week-out and I'm sure Seth will be involved sometime soon.

Keep an eye on those 2 kids from Hallsville on the "D" side of the ball. It sure would be nice to see one or both of them show up on the player of the week page!

Thanks for the heads-up...but don't forget---those names just don't appear by magic.

You are more than welcome to send them to me by 2:00 each Sunday, or add their name(s) to the POW thread that's up every Saturday morning.

Thanks.

Smoaky,

Cameron Broaderhausen from Grace should be in offensive category as well and all around if any. He scored 4 touchdowns as running back against Malakoff and as linebacker had 11 tackles, 3 for loss and one sack. Just a monster day for a very consistent player.

gracetyler14,

I knew Cameron scored 4-TD's, but I never received or saw anything about his defensive stats.

I appreciate the heads-up, but did you nominate him?

Did the coaching staff?

Not only do we post a POW nominations thread every Saturday morning, I send out a MASS email to 400-coaches each Saturday morning asking for POW nominations. Usually, the same 50-70 programs respond.

I don't remember receiving anything from them or you, and I don't remember seeing much in the thread about POW nominations throughout the weekend.

If the defensive stats were on the thread, he should've been listed.

There were three other players who scored 4-TD's that didn't make the poll this week "other" than Cameron.

I didn't have the additional stats, carries, yards, catches, etc.

I don't take this poll lightly, I do everything possible to insure we get the best performances but we're going to miss some.

YOUR feedback is important and that's why we post a POW nominations thread very early on Saturday morning.
