Can anyone tell me why a school like Whitehouse does not have a JH cross country team.

I could answer that one, but I would hurt some feelings. From the looks of their football team, maybe they need to start building a good XC team.lol

It's kind of hard to convince those young kids to run. They get out there and practice once or twice and they decide that 2 miles ain't for them. Some schools have big JH teams like Gladewater and White Oak. Some schools don't even have JH teams like Gilmer.

Some schools do some don't seems to me that some schools have good _______ and some don't.
If a kid was positively encouraged to participate in a sport then he would.
If he is told football and basketball are the only athletic programs then thats all he or she would focus on. Thats a shame.
Oh well you get what you get in east texas.
