Saw my first Blue Racer today (Eastern Yellow-bellied Racer). It was amazing. This snake covered about 20 feet, across a dry spot in a creek bed, in about 2 seconds.. It made the hair stand up on the back of my neck when I realized how fast he moved. Truely amazing. I am 35 and have never seen this species before. Anyone ever come across one? Oh yeah I was hunting so I figured I could post here.
