Thanks for the updates Mav! I had a good idea these girls would be awesome... But not as quite this good! Fresh and JV the last couple of years have gotten the district in their hands, but i did not fully expect them to play this well. I hope 13-4a has a good run in the playoffs!

Longview pulled off the upset of the night with it's win over PT not only keeping the Lady Lobos' playoff hopes alive, but nearly crippling PT's chances of catching Hallsville for the district title, whom they now trail by 2 games with 5 to go. Texas High pushed Hallsville to the brink of being upset, but the Ladycats held on in 5 sets. Meanwhile Marshall also held off a SS rally for a 5 set win.

Texas High Vs. Marshall- The Lady Mavs' backs are against the wall and need a win to keep post-season hopes alive. Texas High can keep pace with Longview with a win.

Longview Vs. Hallsville- Longview needs a win to stay alone in third place. The Ladycats have already clinched the district championship.

Sulphur Springs Vs. Mt. Pleasant- This is MP's last chance to get out of the district cellar. SS doesn't want that to happen.

Pine Tree- OFF- PT can finish no higher or no lower than second place in the district race.

Texas High after Friday (10-23) completed their district schedule with a 7-5 record. Longview if they win their match against Sulphur Springs they will end their district schedule at 7-5. I think they split with each other so they will have to have a playoff to determine the 3rd and 4th place in 13-4A.

If Marshall wins over Hallsville Tuesday (10-27) they would end district with a 6-6 record. If Longview loses to Sulphur Springs Tuesday (10-27) they would end with a 6-6 record. Texas High would end in 3rd place. Longview and Marshall, if they split during district they would playoff for 4th place.
