Oh, I too would love to be on Lake Fork throwing a rattle trap into the schooling bass.
I would love to be at my deer lease getting every last detail ready for next weekend.
I could go on and on.

In Hawaii surfing the waves, drinking some cold ones, grilling some salmon, eating some raw oysters, and smelling the sea breeze.

In Scotland/England/Ireland staying in a castle, walking down to the lake and dipping my toes, holding hands with hubby...and walking and walking and walking... just seeing everything.
Yep - that'll do it.

A day on Caddo is my close second.

all I ever want to do is cruise backroads on my motorcycle. Don't matter where just as long as it is not too hot.

Im old. So this morning when it was cool, Id have liked to been at the lake sitting in the sunshine. When it got hotter like it did today, Id move to the shade. Might get up to eat, then again might not.

I'd rather be napping in a hammock out by the lake in this beautiful fall weather.

Great fall day today. My hound was sunning his belly--wanted to join him in the cool grass. Then Id have got fleas and have to sleep on the couch.

Spent the last two days on Beaver's Bend. The walleye are gathering on the points. It is such a beautiful time of the year.

^ Lucky. The one and only reason to ever have year round school would be to have a couple weeks in the fall and spring to enjoy. It would be bad for football and baseball, but a great vacation. When I retire, I am buying a big camper and am going in the middle of the week, when no one is there at campgrounds or beach.

Spent two more days of last week on Beaver's Bend. We found some keeper crappie in Panther Creek. Walleye are slow but a slow troll over the points in about 20 feet of water yielded some real nice ones for us.
The trees are beginning to turn (more so on the upper end) and the surrounding scenery absolutely make the trip worthwhile.

Was up that way the last couple of years. Stayed in 2 different places in some nice out of the way cabins. The scenery is something to behold.
