Story on the Rangers official website that makes me more than a little sad. Blalock's time with the Rangers is drawing to a close this weekend. I've always been a big fan of Hank's, and I'll really miss him when he's gone. Best of luck, old friend, and who knows...maybe we'll see you back here down the road sometime, because you CAN go home again-just ask Pudge!

I am sure gonna miss him too! I can't believe he will be gone! I know there really isn't a spot for him, but dang--he is a great player, yeah, he can be streaky in his offense, but what power hitter isn't? Anyway--good luck Hank! texrangers.gif

Man this really bums me out. Hank was one of my favorite players.

One of my favorites for quiet a while, injuries really messed up what could have been a great career.

It is hard to imagine Hank not being with the Rangers next year but it sure looks like that will be the case. I do think injuries have played a role in his production the last few years but he has always been a class act. The Rangers desperately need several more right hand bats so he has to go. As someone already posted, you never know, he might show back up down the road.

Good Luck Hank!!!

Hank was one of the rare players on the Rangers who could come through in the clutch with a walk-off homer.

I was at that game, and it was the most exciting finish I have ever seen.

I hope he finds a team to latch onto next year before the season starts. Hank will always be a Ranger no matter where he goes.

Good luck Hammer!!!
