Indeed, shocking! Lol...Who would you throw at the Angels in Game 1 - Lester or Beckett? Interesting decision to make. Who has Francona announced?

I really don't care who wins as long as the Yankees don't!

Lester's the man, then Beckett and Buchholz. I can't really argue either way with Lester or Beckett. Lester has been better the second half and Beckett was much better the first half. I'm just hoping we get the best out of each of them in both starts.

It's a toss up really. Buchholz was the surprise to me. He's been great at times and average other times. I really expected Dice-K to go right back in the mix when he pitched as well as he did at the end.

We'll see. It won't matter who is pitching if the Angels are on base and the stealing begins.

Yeah, that's true. The Captain certainly doesn't throw like he used to, and Martinez has never thrown well. I think I read where they threw out about 8% and 13 % of potential basestealers, respectively, on the season. But at least Figgins, Aybar, Izturis, Abreu, and Hunter won't be able to steal 1B! They'll have a tough time just reaching against that kind of pitching.

i dont know which team scares me more: the twins or the angels. if boston somehow makes it to the alcs along with the yankees go ahead and pencil us in for the world series. wink.gif

No lie! Like Tom Petty said, the waiting is the hardest part. Yankees in six, Dodgers in seven, then in the WS in a classic rematch (first time since 1981), Yankees in seven. Really, all I want now is every remaining series to just go the distance.
