10-0 from the chiefs

You cowboy fans who refuse to recogonize the problems better be getting ready
ramsn03
They are to blinded by the silver colored glasses to see it, some finally coming around, but others just enjoy watching the stats add up, and still losing.

So who doesn't recognize the problems?

we run playaction 3-5 at our own 7 yet in the red zone we wont run a play action pass?

I think I was overly optimistic in thinking Dallas was a mediocre 8 & 8 team. We may be more in the area of 4-12 or worse based on what I am seeing today. Lack of focus in all areas of the game; major problems evident in Big D.

Why worry with play-action when we just kill the fade route?

Your wrong. Spacegolfer does has a different opinion on what the problem is. Romo is not the problem. Cowboys need coaching!
Coach0001
Crayton drops another I agree on Romo today he is playing well today is not on him

Just no discipline at all and that begins with the HC!

I've been saying for 3 years that he's the most overrated OL in the history of the NFL. IMO he's the weakest link on an average-at-best OL

Wrong. He's actually one of the most talented in the entire league. His problem seems to be between the ears.......he's just plain stupid.
THSfanatic
Don't see where talent matters if it doesn't result in production.
Stupidity trumps talent.

Yeah and he would have had an even better day had he not dropped them other 2 TD passes.........
OBTS
Exactly....all is forgiven with Austin catching the game winning TD...but he should have made it in the 1st half. He dropped 4 #### in the end zone. He's not a hero...he's lucky that Roy got hurt by Romo's horrid passing vs Denver...otherwise he would have not been in the game in OT outside of returning kicks.

Well for what it's worth... some of you still don't read my posts. I've pointed out problems with Dallas. I have never said they did not have some problems. NAME one team out there in the entire NFL that doesn't have problems. There will always be room for improvement with every single team out there.

Flozelle is still a very good Left Tackle. Sure he has mess ups as do all linemen. He protects the blind side for Tony Romo and still does it very well. Yes he do have too many penalties and too many at key times. I will point out that you can watch new york or Indy and see holding or countless plays that are never called like this in the line. Of course I would never say there is a bias here. And yes I know some plays are missed for Dallas occasionally. They just seem to have a habit of calling the ones on big plays.

I guess I can't talk much smack on this game because I did not see or tape this one.

He does get production. Flozelle routinely shuts down whoever is guarding him, but on the other hand he makes tons of stupid mistakes.

I agree with your second point, but I guess the Cowboys disagree.

It was nice to see the replays on NFL Network. Miles did pretty good for a sorry excuse of a wide receiver. If you know me that was "tongue in cheek" because I think Miles is a solid receiver. Notice I did not say "Star" receiver.

It was an impressive performance for sure. My problem is Where's he been" and "Is he coming back?".
The lack of consistent running game is troubling. I've never been sold on Barber as an every down back. Felix can't stay on the field. I'd like to see Choice given more chances & use Marion like he was originally used for short yardage.
He's a beast on protection blocking also.

It sure does look like Choice should be put #1 and using Felix when he's healthy to open up the game. Marion would still be a good short yardage back. He will break some and get some nice runs. Choice has been very consistent.

If Felix can stay healthy, it's the best rushing attack in the NFL, it's only unconsistant because Barber is hurt and Felix is out.

Miles Austin just hasn't gotten the oppurtunities as some of the other recievers, today he got his chance to start, and he showed what he could do.
spacegolfer
Just watched another TD by Indy where roughing was called against Tenn. on Manning. There should not have been that call or TD since the guy that hit Manning was HELD on the play and it was never called.

It sure would have been called on Dallas' left tackle (Flozell)!

I wasn't able to watch the game because the television stations would rather show college football. I was able to watch the postgame interview. Wade looked and spoke like this was his last game as head coach. Does this guy have any fire in his belly ? The "stats" were there, and it looked like Miles Austin doubled his career stats with a Flipper Anderson game.

Outside appearances mean nothing!

Without question Phillips is a great Defensive Coordinator. I don't think in any way he has worked as a head coach though. It's a tough call changing in midseason. I'd have to be awfully sure of where you're going at this point. I'm sure not sold on Garrett being a head coach either, but IMO it would not be good to change OC at almost midpoint. I wish the HC would have been changed after last season.

They did, but it's still cool to have seen one of the greatest games by a WR ever.
