The Angels are 35-23 against the Yankees over the past several seasons, and the Yankees have a terrible time trying to beat L.A. in California. It's going to be a tough series, that's for sure.
Yankees in 7.

The Yankees had won 9 straight against the hated Red Sox, and I'd rather see them against the California/Anaheim/The California Angels of Los Angeles at Anaheim. Tonight was a good game to watch, if you're a Yankees fan. I like our chances tomorrow. The Angels are used to the sunny weather of California, they're not used to the bitter cold of a northern blowin' in on Yankee Stadium.
I've seen more teamwork with the Yankees this year, than I have in a long time. Joe Girardi is a stickler to certain situations. I can't believe no one is whining about the "bad calls". I'm sure they are over the Tex/Hunter out, but when he caught the ball, his foot was on the bag. AFRAUD made only a half hearted attempt to run over Jeff Mathis, so he should have been called out. That was a technicality.
Same Yankee time, same Yankee channel, tomorrow. I bet the Angels wished it was a day game.

As Yankees fans, tonight is not a time to celebrate. It's been a long night, and there shouldn't be any celebrating. It's time to head to balmy L.A. for a day game. The team needs to get some rest, and be prepared for Monday.
The Yankees have tradition and responsibilities, not to just the average fan, but to themselves :

I wanted the game for Andy to move ahead of John Smoltz, but all good things must come to an end. 50-0 when leading by 3 runs, is broken. Streaks come to an end sometime. The Angels gave us the game, but the Yankees made mistakes, and took the game for granted. Hopefully this woke them up for tomorrow night. The Angels aren't going to lie down, and not play tough.

I thought the Angels were toast when they had the bases loaded with Vlad at the bat and didn't score last night.
With that said Sabathia will lose his start, but the Yankees will win the ALCS only to get beat by Philly.
Or, if you believe in Curses, the Yankees put a limited amount of WS tickets on sale today. Don't they know about baseball and superstitions?

Some truly terrible umpiring tonight, but I don't think ML umpires, who are remarkably correct on their calls the overwhelming majority of the time, would EVER issue makeup calls.

He missed the double play on third to make up for it. I think AFRAUD is back on the juice, he's been on for the ALCS.
