Bullard vs. Henderson at 5 PM in Bullard on Friday was tentatively setup earlier this week.

The Lady Tigers will play Queen City @ Ore City on Saturday 1:00 to determine who will be seeded second and third in District 17AA. The second place team will then play Elysian Fields and the third place team will play New Diana in a double header on Tuesday - I believe at Ore City High School.

Overton lost to MP Chapel Hill in 3 games but the scores were close. I don't know the scores though. Overton has a 2nd warmup at Overton on Monday Nov. 2nd. Overton will play Spring Hill. This season Overton has beaten 3 3A schools. Rusk Crockett and Gladewater. I am looking forward to my Alma Mater Overton to make it 4 3A teams.

I'm assuming you haven't seen Spring Hill play. Spring Hill is a solid team. No weaknesses. And those 3 teams your Alma Mater beat are not anything to brag about. Considering Gladewater is 3-25....If Overton scores 15 points a set, I'd be shocked.

According to the Longview paper, White Oak won 3-0.

What happened to Chapel Hill this weekend??? Getting beat up by a 2A team? Did anyone go to the game? Was Troup that good?

Troup played well, and CH had mistakes, but that is expected when girls that have barely played all season are put in the line up and regular starters are sitting out. I know Coach Godwin had reasons for the line up and we trust her judgement. The Lady Bulldogs will be ready for Diboll on Tuesday night!!

Interesting....I wonder if the Diboll coach was there scouting. Did Coach Godwin sit all her starters???

Why would you sit your starters on a warm up game? They lost because Troup is a pretty good team.

Troup is a good team and played well as I said in my previous post, they did play well but all of our starters were not on the court and that did make a difference!

This is totally un-true. The chapel hill starters played the whole game. They just got beat by a good troup team. I know this to be a fact, and not the rantings of some bulldog fan who's pride is hurt. Troup is for real the only bad thing about it is if troup gets that bi-district win they have to face white oak and that tradition will be tough to beat. I don't know why chapel is surprised they got beat by a 2AA school, seems like the Arp football team hands it to them on a yearly basis....The starters were in and the coach screaming at them wasn't an act...they just got beat. Good Luck to both teams in the playoffs.

3A Needville beat Centerville in 5 games Monday night. Centerville is 39-2 heading in to the playoffs.
