Dallas still controls their own destiny. The new york gnats are showing their true colors. Philly is starting to play and Washington.... well, another story. Looks to be an exciting game coming up with Philly. Dallas is not necessarily hitting on all phases of their game. But, they are showing great improvement in some of their execution. I still would like to see Tashard running the ball more. In fact we should have run the ball more this game.

At least Dallas put away Seattle and did not let them really back it. A good win without more injuries is a plus! At least I don't recall any for Dallas. bounce.gif

Totally agree. Nice win.

You know my feelings about "big" games. They don't exist until the playoffs. But if you want to call regular season big games then Dallas is 1-1 (loss to NY win to Atl). Philly is another. IF they win in Philly they will be in good shape. If they lose they will be behind the 8 ball.....by that I mean 1 game behind the Eagles but 0-2 in division while Philly will be 3-0.
That will mean it would be almost impossible to win any tie breaker for the division.

I'll get revved up if/when Dallas wins next week.

Agreed. Dallas' season could hinge almost entirely on how well they do against they're own division. They need to do well against Philly.

you never know what philly team will show up. it could be the team that beat dallas at the end of last year, or that beat the giants today....or it could be the team that tanked against OAKLAND. but dallas knows they need to be ready because philly is prolly the team that gives them more fits in the reg. season than anyone in the division. a win in philly would be huge for this team. and would also put them in 1st place in the division. a place where not many people thought they would be..

i also hate jason garrett...i know dallas won big, but being up 28 points with 9 minutes left in the 4th quarter...what direction does your offense need to go toward?? um...the RUNNING GAME. DUH!!! especially when you are at your own 12. instead he chooses to continue to pass and it results in a romo fumble and 7 seahawk points...you can't make those kind of poor playcalling decisions next week against philly

It was a good game today for the Cowboys. I have a lot of concerns with next weeks game, and I hope the Cowboys win. It's going to be a tough game for them. Both teams have shown turn arounds the last couple of weeks, the Eagles really surprised me today. I thought they were going to get beat like a drum. I enjoyed the victory, but Sea isn't playing on a level that they have. You have to be a solid team to go into Philadelphia and win.

Was Romo "padding his stats" at the end of the game, up by 21 points with two backups on the sidelines, or does that only go for Peyton Manning?

Nice win, agreed. happy65.gif

But the bad news is.....

They haven't won a game in their division yet.

They have Philly this coming week. Philly just stomped a mud hole in the Giants.

BTW, the receivers are making Romo look really good.

Well Dallas was trying to move the ball and run clock since Seattle scored to make the game closer. Dallas mainly worked short passes and runs to move down the field. I say let Romo pad his stats just like Manning and Brady!

I agree....he needs to do it when he can.....because he doesn't get the chance very often.

Well with a lifetime QB rating of 96.8 he doesn't need to pad them. He'll get all the accolades as he wins championships.
