I was just wondering if anyone thinks the Saints are the team to beat in the NFC, or who stands in their way in the NFC. Yes, I'm from Louisiana and I may get blasted by some Cowboy fans, but I just wanted to see some discussion.

saints have a very good offense. the three headed running back has them at a whole nother level this year. gregg williams is doing a good job with a kind of retread defense. oldtimers, guys coming out of retirement, cowboy castoffs.

I think they are the team to beat in the NFL...not just the NFC.....

N O without a doubt is at top of the league. They are just another example of the great coaches the Cowboys have had. Dallas still puts together another good team. I do suspect Dallas wins this game.

I only watched the Giants game from start to finish, and they look tough. Everytime I flipped the channel last night they were making plays. I thought they were going to get beat by Miami, but the stormed back for a win. The Saints look like they did 2 years ago. They look solid, and they'll beat the Cowboys on December 19th.

I still don't see where NO can stop Dallas from moving the ball. With the way our defense is playing and special teams it'll be hard for NO to score like they did against new york. We'll see soon enough. We first have other games to get through.

The Saints are an excellent team right now. Will they maintain through December? Who knows. I believe they have started a season 7 -0 before.

But if the playoffs started right now, they would be THE team to beat.

Think how many NFL teams are kicking themselves now for not going after Brees when San Diego wanted to get rid of him. Everyone else was afraid that he was damaged goods. That was a great move by the Saints.

I think the Colts could beat the Saints anyday. I think the Saints will lose 3 games this year, Dallas, New England, and in Atlanta.

You may be right about the Colts, but actually I was talking about the NFC. Hope you're right about the Cowboys.

The Saints are a good team, and right now they are the team to beat. However if they play the Cowboys like they did the Falcons and the Dolphins the Boys will beat them. Don't get me wrong I'm not sayin that the comeback in the Miami game wasn't amazing, but the Cowboys have a better offense and defense than the Dolphins. I don't see the Cowboys blowing a 21 point lead. I think that later on in the season the Cowboys COULD beat the Saints.

That's true, but you didn't see the blind side from the Denver Broncos either. I'll be hoping that the Cowboys have a Larry Allen repeat of 1994, in that game. I also hope to see a Randy White/Ken Stabler safety on that Saturday Night.

Congratualtions ! There are far more important things to be doing, than watching football on your honeymoon. She has to become a Saints fan somehow.
