Former Ranger, turned Dodger, Vicente Padilla, accidently shot himself in the leg yesterday. One report says his pistol jammed during target practice and another states it was due to a hunting accident.

No surgery was needed and he is expected to be ok!

That would be the Admin's banning me for my comment. On another forum I'm a member of, we all talk about the dreaded banhammer of doom. As a matter of fact, It just came down on someone yesterday on that forum that had been a member since it's beginning.

This forum doesn't have a sense of humor?

Vicente Padilla is a professional......I can understand not making jokes about High School and College kids.....they are kids and not Pros.

Pros are supposed to act like Pros and when they don't.......I think they are fair game as long as it is in good taste. IMO

Sense of humor, yes. But I was a little bit paranoid about that comment. I don't know why, I've read a lot more hurtful, or offense comments on here.

I still want to know what the real story is. His agent says it was a hunting accident. He says he was target practicing. His gun jammed, and an off duty officer who was training him didn't realize the gun was loaded. The gun went off struck him in the wrist then grazed his leg.

Something is fishy with the story coming out of the camps.

Who cares, it's Vicente Padilla.... And we all know that he wasn't aiming at his leg or he wouldn't have hit it!!!
