Which teams in the big 12 have freshman that are coming in and can make an immediate impacts on their teams in 2010?

this is tough...i don't think there will be many frosh making noise for texas next year due to the youth of this years team. but who knows.

I would say Jackson Richards and Scotty Young at Texas Tech.

I only know Texas well and have a good few sources to make some guesses.

But as for TRUE freshman... ill go with

Maybe Adrian Phillips at the flex TE position. I really hope we have Irby back though.

Texas A&M:

OL - Jake Matthews (6'5" 280lbs, 4*), A&M's highest ranked recruit, one of the top lineman recruits in the country, can play any position on the line, his father and uncle are both NFL hall-of-famers. Also recruited by Texas and USC.

OT - Shep Klinke (6'7" 290lbs, 4*), highly ranked huge offensive lineman, expected to battle for playing time as a true freshman

OL - Luke Joeckel (6'6" 280 lbs, 4*), highly ranked offensive lineman, expected to make the 2-deep as a true freshman

OL - Cedric Ogbuehi (6'5" 270 lbs, 4*), another highly ranked offensive lineman, dominated the top-ranked defensive end (Jackson Jeffcoat) head-to-head earlier this year.

LB - Corey Nelson (6'0" 210 4.5 4*), one of the top-ranked LB's in the country, also recruited by Nebraska, Oklahoma, Stanford, Texas, LSU, and TT

Traylon Shead from Cayuga is goin to Texas still isnt he? I havent really heard much about him this year. I know he is a stud but not sure how much of an immediate impact he will have.
