You must have missed the Flintstones episode, when the family took the trip there. Many people also don't take into account the upheaval of the earth caused by the death of the Saviour. There was a great earthquake, that happened shortly before Christ's resurrection. Matthew 28.
In my opinion this can be included in the religion thread. The entire world shook, when Christ was resurrected.
The earth can form quickly, and it can form slowly. Some of you may appreciate this, it's from Wikipedia, but hey it was quick to find there. I remember reading this story when I was 7 years old, and it made an impression on how quickly things can be formed :
