Not sure how serious, but he's not back in the game yet.

Iowa was up 10-0 when Stanzi tried a play action bootleg from his own endzone. When he turned he was surprised to see a Northwesetern defender waiting for him, lost the ball trying to get away and it looked like his ankle got rolled up on the tackle.

Northwestern recovered in the endzone for a TD, and then picked off the redshirt freshman backup to set up another TD.

14-10 with 1:22 left in the half (they've just traded turnovers, Iowa ball on their 20.)

Northwestern is playing their backup QB as well.

I think they were what 4th in BCS...maybe TCU can jump up now....

USC, without Barkley, lost to Washington and USC dropped to 12 from 3rd in the AP. I wonder how far Iowa, minus Stanzi, will drop. This will possibly show the media's bias towards USC.

I agree.

They should drop a whole lot, Iowa wasnt really that good....I would take a 2 loss orgeon, or USC over them...

I liked Iowa lol...They wouldnt hang with Texas Florida or Bama but they were scrappy...I like that. Stanzi was the heart of the team in those late comebacks. Its amazing what the loss of this guy did to this team. It was going to be a runnaway i think before he went down.

With Iowa losing, and Ohio State's win over Penn State. If Ohio State beats Iowa which is very likely since Stanzi is out for two weeks, the Buckeyes are outright Big 10 Champions.
