Well, First I would like to say this is amazing.
Second, Charlie Weis has to be finished as the head coach of Notre Dame now.

Yea...44-1 the last 45 games against navy and then bcs hopeful ND drops one to them. Drops Clausen completely from the Heisman race and cost Weis his job.

My incredible father is a 1953 graduate of the Naval Academy, and he is the ultimate role-model.

I only wish I could've been the man he's been in my life.

He has watched 40-plus years of Notre Dame beating Navy, as they should.

Somehow or another he didn't get a chance to watch the Navy win against Notre Dame 2-3 years ago.

I called him tonight after the win, and he was almost in tears.

He was soooooooo proud.

I am sooooooo proud he's my father, and he was able to watch Navy beat the Fighting Irish.

Any time that ND loses, it is a good day for me... except when OU laid an egg like they did in Lincoln!

That definitely took some of the shine off of my earlier happiness...

I love seeing Navy beat ND or anybody for that matter, but for an academy to beat them makes it even better. Hey, maybe Navy has now gotten into the heads of ND!! HAHA, I love it!

Navy is a good team. To me this wasnt unexpected. Flawless option teams are hard to beat, even more fun to watch in the pass happy/no defense times we are in.

Anytime ND or Penn State loses, it is a great day. For both to lose on the same day--priceless. Anytime ND and Penn State would play each other, I would pull for a tie. Cannot do that now.

what kind of offense was that navy was running? the triple option? that'll never catch on. a very good all around win for navy. the score was closer than the actual game was. imo
