WOW!!

Just saw the highlights of this one on Gameday Final and all I can say is WOW!

All i can remember is houston is down 45-37 with like 2 minutes left and they score with 21 seconds left...but Keenum gets sacked on 2 pt. conversion attempt, and Tulsa thinks they have the victory...they even had a handle on the ensuing onside kick, but it popped out and houston recovers...then keenum completes two passes and houston nails a 51 yard field goal as time expires!!!

Saw that too. Houston has won a couple of those wild ones this year. Fun team to watch. This one is the topper though.

I watched the game from start to finish and I will honestly say that it was one of the best games I have ever seen as far as excitement. The way the game ended couldn't have been written better in a novel.

You have to feel bad for that kid from Tulsa who botched catching the ball on that onside kick though.

Great game.

You cannot lay the loss on that one kid. I feel just about as bad for GJ for his 2 interceptions, and 3 sacks.
Which is not enough tears to water a flea. I do feel glad GJ finally found a college that would let him play. He does have a great deal of talent.
Case had no interceptions and only 2 sacks. (2 from 3 =1) difference in the game. So part of the blame can go to the offensive line that didn't give GJ the time he needed. Certainly was not GJ's or the kid who muffed the punt. Maybe it was the coach's fault for not line ing up right, for the onside kick. Yea that's it; it's always the Coaches fault.

Good Gawd! Didn't even catch this score yesterday. Was Houston not picked to beat Tulsa handily??

What's with Houston?????? At times they have played outstanding this year, but at other times, they have played down to their competition. Never know which team will show up!!!!

With this win, I think Houston will get back in to the top 10. They are a very good 1 loss team, and I think they never should have dropped as far as they did when they lost to UTEP. Go Cougars.

i watched the game and they can really light it up offensively. the problem with the cougars is that they don't have much of a defense. that may work in the lower divisions of high school, but will never work anywhere else.

Keenum's Heisman hype is growing around the nation. Lots of ESPN, NYTimes talk. He won't win it this year, but may be the frontrunner next year. Stats are one thing, but what is more impressive is what he has done with games on the line. Down to Tech late in the 4th quarter and he puts together a length of the field drive to win the game. Tied with Southern Miss and gets the ball deep in his own territory with 50 seconds left in the game and drives it down the field and throws a TD to win it. This week, he's down two with 20 seconds left at his own 39. Hits two passes to get to Tulsa's 34 and the walkon freshman third string kicker nails a 51 yarder at the buzzer.

It's great to lead the nation in passing yards, but what is more important is making things happen in crunch time to pull out victories for his team. Three times this year he's gotten it done when some players simply fold. Compare Keenum's performance with Claussen of Notre Dame. He's down 7 to Navy with two minutes left and starts a drive at his own 20. Incompletion. Incompletion. Sack. Sack for a safety. .......not getting it done.

IMO Houston is not getting the respect they deserve.
