Way to go TCU... not a fan of pulling out new unis mid-season though, and from what I could see of those pants, they are UGLY.

Glad gameday is going to TCU, but those uniforms are nasty. I like the helmet a lot if only they'd left that Denver Broncos-looking stripe off of it.

I don't know... I like TCU, but that uniform is terrible. I'm feeling the pain for Tanner (Mellon Head) and Logan Brock - two kids that grew up in our coach's office.

I am just glad that tcu is getting love from espn....i kinda like the new unis, a little change never hurt nobody..lol.....

Hopefully, TCU can sell out their stadium for once. It would be pretty embarrassing to have Gameday come there and have about 1/4 of their seats empty like they usually do. I can't understand why the people in Fort Worth don't support a good program like that any better than they do.

The upper deck sold out today. I don't think there are many seats left in the lower bowl outside of the ones that Utah just sent back from the visitor allotment. If TCU had played either Utah or BYU on Saturday instead of Thursday nights any of the past four seasons, I would venture to say that most of the games would have been sold out or near sold out.

Not a lot of people in Fort Worth are connected to TCU. There also aren't a whole lot of TCU students/alumni either. Add in that most people in the Metroplex don't really connect with Colorado State, New Mexico, Wyoming, San Diego State, or UNLV, and would much rather go to JerryWorld to watch the Cowboys. Either that or they are one of the legions of fans of one of the large state schools. After that you don't have many fans. However I think BYU, Utah and Air Force are usually well attended.

It's a shame the fire ants have decimated the Horned Frog. I used to catch them daily when I was a kid. I never did see one shoot blood out of its eyes though. I did see about two a week belly up in our swimming pool.

They are saving the" blood shooting from their eyes" till we can play Texas anywhere but in Austin, Longhorn fan.......Nike is promoting a few teams with new uniforms and TCU was one of them selected. I believe they picked 6 teams...
I will be in Ft. worth Sat. night. Going to be a war but the Frogs with all of the East Texas boys Texas didn't want play hard...............

^Okay, that is just bad!!!!! I'm glad the NCAA put in a rule to keep other teams from following Boise and their screwed-up turf.

I think the new uniforms are sweet... The metallic helmets with the orange strip really stand out! The pants are a little different but look sharp with the purple jersey!
