TCU moved up to 4th. Texas and Alabama flip flop again.

Florida
Alabama
Texas
TCU
Cincinnati
Boise State
USNDocOfMarines
Alabama does not deserve to be # 2. Its fine though, because Alabama will lose to Florida in the SEC Championship.
THSfanatic
Glad to see TCU up there. They deserve it. They are for real.

HOW IS USC #9 IN THE BCS POLL?
BeatNavy
The Florida/Alabama game will be too hard to call. Both defenses are outstanding....Florida is very fast and athletic...Alabama is strong and aggressive. The offenses will have a hard time scoring points. I do not think that Tebow will have much success with the QB draw against the Bama defensive line. This game will be a slobber-knocker....my guess is that less than 20 points are scored.

I am glad to see tcu above bosie....

I asked last week how long it would be before they are back in the top 5 or 6. It doesn't matter how much they lose or how close their wins are against mediocre teams. They WILL be put up there.
stevosev7
i personally believe right now that bama deserves to be above texas...and i'm a longhorn fan...but i only feel this way for two reasons...

1. texas has played a weaker schedule

2. it's not gonna matter because either 'bama or florida will lose.
Valhalla
I hope Texas slips up just so TCU might get to the title game.

4 of the BCS computers say Bama has played a weaker schedule..it is all relative and will play itself out

how about bama or florida slip up and the one with one loss beats the other and it's texas vs. tcu in the championship game.

That wont never happen, but that would be great..........i guess u never know though alabama and florida still habe big rivalry games before the game in atlanta.....

Er... no, that's not true. The BCS computers are all in agreement that Bama has had a tougher schedule than Texas.

(USC being ranked highly... well, polls are subjective, and the computers do like the Pac-10. USC being ranked ahead of Oregon? Idiotic.)

Maybe you can explain why USC should be ranked ahead of the Oregon team that mopped the floor with USC a week ago?
n5ifi
I would imagine the Oklahoma loss hurt Texas.

There is no rational explanation for it. Doesn't have to be one....they are USC !!!
HitEmHarder
Who cares...BCS is bogus anyway.

USC jumped Oregon because Oregon lost to Stanford. I want to know why Ohio state jumped USC.

Makes no sense. Oregon routed USC.

Stanford beat them by 2 possesions.

USC lost to Washington.....period. How you can bounce back in or near the top 10 after that one baffles me.
formertribesman
Considering lsu struggled against Washington u shouldn't talk. If lsu's offensive and defensive coordinators went to some other conference school, I figure y'all would lose too.

USC and Oregon both have 2 losses and Oregon hammered USC in the head to head matchup. Yes, Oregon lost to Stanford, a much better team than the lousy Washington team that USC lost to.

You can spin it all you want, but you still can't justify USC being ranked ahead of Oregon.

good excuse. face the fact that USC isn't as good and rarely is as good as the world thinks they are. LSU struggled......but BEAT Washington. LSU, Bama, Florida or Texas would run all over USC......just like Oregon did...... shocked.gif
formertribesman
I guess they are on front because of the same reason Ohio state is in front of USC

Until the sec gets their officiating mess straightened out i would not vote for any team from the sec. Both florida and alabam should have at least one loss. How can u not call the int by lsu a catch. that was an int even in the nfl he clearly has 2 feet in and possesion. It is a more clear catch than the super bowl winning catch by the steelers.Sec officiating is either bad or crooked.

It is crooked. The SEC wants a team undefeated after the SEC championship and if LSU would've won then that may not have happened. I know it's far fetched....but the thought has crossed my mind.

If that's the case then there should be some NCAA investigators on the way. Until a team can put FL or AL away so that even the officials can't bring them back, this is how it's going to be.

yea...I cant stand either one of them. I want a TCU Texas MNC. Heck lets move it to Jerrys world so more of us would be able to go lol

How does LSU lose to Bama and go from #9 to #8?

The BCS is all screwed up.
BayouBengal
Same way Texas jumped Bama week before last. It makes no sense. I'm not complaining on LSU jumping though.

Wrong. Texas did not lose a game and move up. Nice try though.

how many losses for an sec team would it take to keep a non bcs team from playing for the nc? 2 maybe?

yea...For TCU or Boise to ever get a shot in the future USC will have to have 3 losses, All SEC teams will have to have at least 2, and No other conference will can have a 1 loss team. Essentially they will have to be undefeated and everyone else in the country will have to have at least 2 losses for one of them to get in.

I want to see TCU in the Big 12 and add Boise state and Utah to make a pac 12.

My point was that Texas won that week and Bama didn't play but Bama dropped. It didn't make sense. That was my point.....I don't understand it.
