Full Version: Is this dumb to anyone else?
J. Crompton of TN threw 5 td passes plus ran for 1 and only played a half and one drive in the 3rd q. I believe he was 21 of 27 for 337 and set the TN record for pass yards in a half at 307. R. Mallett goes 23 of 27 for a lil less then 300 with no td passes but runs for 1 and get SEC POTW. Is this the dumbest POTW award you've seen or what?
blame lane kiffin...there is only one player on that team that is able to get the credit from beyond kiffins shadow.
Not a very wise decision...

you appear to have conveniently left out the fact that Crompton did it against a weak Memphis team whereas Mallet did it against a ranked conference opponent in South Carolina. Just a point.

yea but those kind of numbers are huge in against any team after jsut one half...Your point is good though
Solid point about the teams... But still it SHOULD go to the performance... But i guess i would rather have my kid show up in a big game than a meaningless one.
