BORED!

Saw a few deer, mostly doe, no bucks worth shooting. Hunted Sat, Sun, Mon, and Tues. To dang hot.

Saw a few deer. I passed on a 16 or so inch 7 point that had split brow tines making him a 9 point. Other than that it was rather slow.

Saw to Squirrels doing some weird dance together. Could have fallen asleep if it weren't for them darn mosquiteers buzzing me. Man I hate that noise. Guess I should invest in the old Thermacell. Looking at the weather, it wont be cool till monday, and then I'll be at work so it wont matter. Good luck!

I saw mosquitoes and squirrels

I havent seen a deer in a week. It's nothing in my deer lease to go see 4 or 5 deer everytime you sit, but we just aint seeing deer right now. I dont know what is going on. I put the cameras back out yesterday to see if when these deer are coming in because we're still seeing the tracks. But I will say this, this is the worst mosquito year I have ever witnessed in the 18 years of hunting. TERRIBLE!!!!!!

I did see a huge 13 point, would have been 14 if one not broken, killed by a car on the north end of Whitehouse.

One of the locals scored him at 156. He was a great deer. Shame he was killed by a car.

In my 17 years living in Whitehouse I've seen one killed in almost that exact same spot every year. Time to be in the woods is this coming Monday and Tuesday my friends. Moon phase perfect, cooler temperatures (even if you do have to deal with some showers), and we should be smack dab in the middle of the chase phase. I'll expect to see some good pictures come the latter part of next week.

Got him on Trail Cam 2 times last year at a friends place, friend ended up getting the horns from GW, gonna mount him anyway( he's a taxidermist)
