One reason the Texas High Tigers have done so well the past few years is because of Coach Jim LeGrand at the Texas Middle School. In 15 seasons Coach LeGrand has put up a 95-21-5 record. This season his Tigers were 7-0 and hauled in the middle schools 7th district title under LeGrand.

Wins are not the only thing that can be used as a yard stick to measure the job Coach LeGrand is dedicated to doing. He developes these young players into athletes that can become part of a winning tradition at the high school level. Coach LeGrand leads his staff during the week then helps the high school staff in his roles with the defensive stats and video work helping them prepare for the next week opponent.

Coach LeGrand is a Christian man of honor and character who loves his kids and wants the best for each of them. He wants them to develop on the field, in the classroom and in their daily lives.
