Tell us about ur band... How many members? What was your halftime show this year?

we've got about 45** members in our band.. our show was james bond..
we got a 1, 2, 1 @ region and were 4 out of 5 at @ area.. we only lost out by one judge.
we're a very young band as the majority is 7th & 8th graders..

**correction.. sorry for the mistake..

they're a strong bunch of middle school kids though.. our trumpet soloist is a freshman.. our french horn soloists are seniors.. there are 4 saxes(3 are JH), 3 flutes (one plays piccolo during marching season [1 is JH]), 2 tubas(both are JH), 6 trombones(all but one are JH), 2 baritones(1 JH), 4 trumpets(2 JH), about 10 precussionists, and about 10 clarinets(majority are JH)..

Not to be rude, I love music, but I think there's a specific forum for Bands and stuff...

Wow, those numbers are impressive!!

Congratulations to your band!!!!

I forget the smaller schools have JH through HS marching together.......great job to your directors!

well the band stuff was just added as part of the football thing.. cause we're with our team through and through!

Good job to your director then.......it definitely takes a lot of work to teach that wide range of an age group all by yourself!!

I've seen that happen to a lot of programs......don't give up though!
