Sad sad day for many Stars fans. The roof was the last standing part of Reunion Arena (had been there just sitting for a while). It came down today.

So with that...what was your favorite moment in Reunion Arena? If you never went, then anything while watching?

I was lucky enough to be apart of a family growing up that could get season tickets during the great years of the Stars so my top 2...
1) Game 7 vs Colorado, 1999 - By far the loudest I've ever heard any Stars games.
2) Game 6 vs New Jersey, 2000 - Despite losing, getting to see the Cup in person skated on the ice was something I'll never forget.

Honorable Mention: 2001 vs Pittsburgh - Getting to see Mario Lemieux play his last game in Texas.

The Hullenium - New Year's Eve 1999:

Brett Hull enters the game against Anaheim on New Year's Eve needing one goal to hit 600 for his career. Stars fell behind early while trying to force the puck to Hull to get #600 in front of the home crowd. The Ducks chased Belfour from his goal and Manny Fernandez came in and stood on his head. Hull gets #600, and #601 to lead Dallas to a come from behind 5-4 victory over the Mighty Ducks. I had great view of both of Hull's goals and it was just awesome! It felt like a big-time playoff game and will be something I will always remember.

So long to the cozy confines of Reunion! What a great place to watch a hockey game!

I basically had a mini season ticket pass during the Stars second season ... they gave KTBB the tickets to give away & I was the only one who ever wanted them!

Those are my collected greatest memory ... along with two concerts:

  • Billy Idol/The Cult (July 18, 1987)
  • Aerosmith/Dokken (February 13, 1988)
