Muslims are the new "Che" to idealist college kids?

More separatist thinking right here in our own stateHispanics warning about curriculum

We are reaping what we have sown.....we haven't taught good, decent, moral, western values to our children and they don't have the tools that allow them to judge between good and evil....so evil is more appealing to them......

I am in complete agreement....they should be learning about more Hispanics in Texas History.....the two Hispanics that they are learning about are not good ones...They should be learning about Juan Seguin and Lorenzo de Zavala, not ceasar chavez and the communists......

I agree, there were many tejanos that helped make Tejas Great. While I do not support illegal immigration, I do remeber the 6th grade and Texas History. They did not show alliegiance to Mexico, they wanted to build a new life with a new flag, and a new language. They wanted to be free. They didn't want to go back to Mexico, they wanted to be a part of Texas. They wanted to make Texas great. They wanted nothing to do with the Los Estado's Unidos de Mexico.

I don't have any problem with anyone coming to America to make America better. I don't have a problem with people coming to Texas to make it better.

I have a problem with people flying their old flag on their new land. I don't wave a German, British, Irish, Scottish, Confederate, French, or any other flag, but Old Glory. I'm an American now, and you can wave your flag in your home country, don't be waving it on my land.

My question is why other flags representing allegiance to other countries. Hang them in the garage
not as public display.

Traversing through Dallas , Texas (ugh) on Texas-OU day revealed some areas in which only the flag
of southern neighbors can be seen.

I wouldn't even do that. My sainted mother loved to find out who our ancestors were, and she told us kids about them. I wouldn't ever hang a flag of my ancestors origin even in a garage. My ancestors wanted to get away from those regimes.

I'm an American, and I will gladly stand up for the American way of life. I hate seeing it eroded. America is a melting pot for all people, colors, religions, and expatriates. We chose to make our own country, and not be like all the others. I am thankful for that fact, and I love this land.

Thanksgiving is tomorrow, and a bunch of rogue castaways wanted to be free of British oppression. They wanted to practice their religion as they saw fit. I have some of their blood in my veins. If people don't desire to be free, and they want America to be like their home country, then they should go back to their mother or fatherland.

I want to live the life of an American, where Liberty, Justice, and Freedom mean something. It is being torn down by new age thinking and living. If one has such a fondness for their native land, Why are they here ? Either contribute to the land that you live, or change the land that you came from.

Assimilate to this land, and we can make America Great. As Abraham Lincoln paraphrased Jesus Christ in the Gettysburg Address, (Matthew 12:25-30) "A house divided against itself cannot stand".
