There are also two new schools in San Antonio - Stevens and a new one to open in 2008. Several new 5A's in Katy as well - Morton Ranch and Seven Lakes, and a new one in 2009.

plus all those small towns north of Dallas that were 1A/2A/3A sized have now boomed into monsters...

A new high school will open near Canyon Lake in 2007. This will effect the enrollment at Smithson Valley and NB Canyon.

Forney is currently building a second middle school, but don't think there are any immediate plans for a new high school. At least there are none that I have heard of.

Spring ISD
Humble ISD (Atascosita HS & 2nd Kingwood school in two years
Cy-Fair ISD (Cy-Woods?)
Magnolia ISD (Magnolia East)
Conroe ISD (Woodlands College Park)
Alvin ISD (Manvel HS -- heard they will be 4A)
Katy ISD (Morton Ranch HS, Seven Lakes HS -- SLHS will be 4A for the 1st realignment)
