i see several changes in class 12-3a aswell as many other districts and it also looks like the state champs Tatum will get there chance of dominance in class 2a. And celina might move back up who knows this could make matchups very interesting!

Is going down to 2A somehow degrading to you or something? I can guarantee you that the day Gilmer went back down to 3A from 4A in 1998 was a cause for celebration in our community.

I don't think it is degrading to go down but it is a indication that you have a declining enrollment and along with that a dying community. Waskom for instance has been in decline for close to 15 years with the close of the steel plant. Even though the census was up in the last census the school at one time had a enrollment close to 289. We are now at 229. Waskom is right on the state line close to Shreveport and would have a opportunity to grow but the place is so full of pipelines and with a small area for a school district not much of a chance. Heck Marshall sends school buses within 3 miles of Waskom and Marshall is about 20 miles away.
