What about the schools with less than 100? you going to force them to consolidate. Are maybe tell them they are too small to compete?
sackem
You have 5A with the smallest % of schools in each choice.
Each of the others have over 2.+. This leaves 5A with less than 2. you didn't give a % only a number for 5A. but any body can multiply 4x2 and come up with 8 so this leaves 1+ for 5A

5A should be the largest not the smallest. Esp. if 4 teams go to the play-offs from this division. Also a few 100 doesn't make that much difference after you pass a certain number.

I think you should revamp your poll and give more to 5A and a smaller division to the other divisions.

sackem.......Those with smaller than 100 play six man football. The UIL stated two years ago they wanted at least 245 schools in 5A and a 2.0-2.1 ratio for the 1A through 4A divisions. There is no ratio applied to 5A.

Several schools with less than 100 choose to remain playing 11 man. Chester, Tenaha, and probably Oakwood will be among that group.

I'm sorry, that's correct. I knew that and should have said they had the option of playing 11 man.

Big changes coming in three days. I still believe the top 3A number will drop.

I think # 1 will be the closest however I have a feeling that the low 3 a number may be as high as 465 just my thoughts you have to ad just alittle extra in the equation when u think about the UIL

I think 3A is going to be screwed more than the school with the next highest enrollment above Highland Park.

AA 189 - 375

5a 1960 +
4a 980-1959
3a 470- 979
2a 235-469
1a 234 and less

with the 1a being up to 234 or so it should help the 3 team playoff stuff and in this case most of which are roughly 2.0 This is probably so far off it is not even worth the mention.

13 hours and counting and all this projection will end.

I hope 1A doesn't go over 210. That is a huge difference from top to bottom. If you've never seen a school with 120 kids compared to a 210 population you wouldn't understand. At 120 you struggle to play a jv and at 210 you have 50 players out.
