Well people have benn asking for the longest for the numbers of schools like JT. This comes from texasprepxtra.com. These numbers will be used by the UIL in tghe realignment this year.

Has the new school in Rockwall opened yet? I believe their enrollment is down a 1000 or so.

Looks like 12-5A will remain the same unless there are big changes in other districts. I have seen alot of schools that are moving down to 4A in the Dallas area. As much as the Mesquite schools hate playing in the tough East Texas district, I bet they're hoping for a change.

I had heard it might be possible, not likely, but possible, for Lufkin to come back in. Then it's back to the Gauntlet......JT, Lee, Longview and Lufkin.

Yes, the new school, Rockwall Heath, has opened up. They will be 4a from what I have heard. I have heard that JT might be playing Dallas Carter and Desoto in addition to Kilgore and Texas High. This is all rumor because there is a chance the district could go to 8 teams or more.

I would expect to see this same district with Wylie included, giving it eight teams.

Wylie was a "good" team in 4-A, but they will not have an answer for the speed they will see in 12-5A.
