Troup definitely has a great drumline and the band sounds better every week. Thanks to the teacher for letting you guys get out there and put on a show! One question. Why not have someone hit the cymbals during that one tune you guys play like the girl did back in 04'?? That sound was great as well!

ok 1. Tatum has a rockin drumline
2. our quad player is an 8th grader that touched quads the first time this summer, not to mention...that 2 of our snairs are 8th graders (one wasn't in the chalenge because his leg was hurt) and our first chair snare is only a freshman, im the oldest one on the line thats not a football player and im only a sophomore
3. we walked off because we were told to!! and we had pizza waiting
4. we also have a great drum instructor
and i have one question for someone on the Troup drumline...what is with the dancing (i guess that's what you'd call it)?
im not tryin to b mean, it was just...odd

cooper's drumline is more than likely great.. rod's on there isn't he? but tatum's is great too. especially considering the fact that the oldest one up there in the stands friday night is a sophomore.

Yeah, yeah.. coopers may be alright..
but Tatum's is just awesome
Because, like imwiththeband said, it's a really young drumline, and i think they're still outstanding for being sophomores, freshmen, and eighth graders.

I'm sure the Cooper drumline is great. Any band/drumline that Mr. Boyce touches turns to gold. Trust me he turn Tatum from a Division 4 band to straight 1s. Things haven't been the same since he's been gone, and it's very sad. But I must say that Tatum drumline is very, very, very good; especially with age level. And the older they get the better it'll be so 2a better watch out!

To tell you the truth, those drumlines are all LAME! I hate to say it but I think if you match up to Queen City, you'll get shut down and i think thats a fact. And that goes for Tatum and all these Military boom tap drumlines

Wait, wait, wait... there is no need to down our boom tap drummers lol. secondly, in military we all march as one, there is no separate entity called drumline while we're marching.

Queen City does have a great drumline. I also believe that White Oak has a good drum line this year too. I've seen them at 3 games this year and they have been better than in the past. I asked one of the snare drummers who their teacher was and they said a guy named Mr. Cartwright. He must work hard to make them as good as they are. That's a really good group. Not saying they are the best, but they are definitely up there in the top 3 this year.

i know its a little late, but the reason why nb didn't go to four states was because we had a contest the same day.. And thank you for the drum line compliment, but honestly they're not the best. One senior and 4 freshmen, they are very immature. i can't wait until after nammb, nothing but concert...

West Sabine had some crunk cool beats and Carlisle did too. Yall just choose not to do that. Bands have a choice.

Of Course
The best band in 2A I would have to say Troup.
Also the middle school be jamming at the middle school games..
But Daingerfield also has a really good band..

As a whole drumline, West Rusk is pretty good. Can't really compete with Queen City or Troup or anything. But I do believe we have the best drummer in 2A, and her name is Kayla Walker. If you ever heard her play by herself, you would not disagree. But I suppose you need more than one great drummer to make the best drumline
