Could someone post the current HS enrollment numbers at Tatum? (approximate)
What are the chances of them moving back up to 3A ?

I find it hard to believe that Tatum will grow enough to move back up. The bottom of 3-A will jump, but Tatum probably won't change enough to catch up.
I expect alignment around there to remain pretty much unchanged this next time.

I'm not talking trash, I'm trying to ask a legitimate question.
We're all well aware of Tatum's 2 state championships.
BTW of all of their opponents, who WOULDN'T want to get rid of them.

realignment doesn't happen every year. Since realignment just happened last year it will be one more year before it is done again.

I heard Tatum started the 2007 school year with around 445 students.

According to UIL enrollment numbers, Tatum is listed as having an enrollment of 394 students. I do not know how accurate their numbers are.

I heard they were over 100 students over the current 2A limit. If that's true, they will be back in 3A next season.

The 445 number is pretty close. Thats only about 30 over, but its enough more than likely to push them back to 3A. The 100+ increase was for all 12 grades. I look for the top of 2A to move up 10%.
Kirt looks like Garrison might have Mart to contend with if they drop. But if they do drop. Most 1A schools have a volleyball team.

Based on the numbers I've heard on Garrison, they probably won't drop this time unless the cutoff goes up at least 10-15.

You are right KF. Looks like Garrison is over by several. But I dont see a volleyball team in the future be it 1a. 2a or no a. Seems the only one that is concerned with this is "sackof"

I personally believe tatum needs to be in 3A. It will bring them stiffer competion and give them a little more legitimacy OUTSIDE of the Tatum area. No offense, great team!
I will tell what needs to happen: Sabine desparately needs to go 2A... I dont know the numbers, but I heard two years ago, they were one student above the 3A cut-off. Just for their sake
