First, Rulon Gardner has his snow mobile accident and loses three toes to frost bite.

This past weekend, an airplane he is in crashes near the Arizona/Utah border in a lake that's 40 degrees. He spends all night in near freezing weather with the other two passengers, and survives.

I thought it was an amazing story.
