5A/4A Brackets are strting to fill up.

We strongly encourage 3A teams to come and particiapte. It is a great chance to see where you stand against like programs.

ahh, wish we could come! when they thru eustace in our district that screwed us out of a week of play!

It is the second weekend. If you start district the first Tuesday of play, then go to the second tournament, then go back to district play on the following Tuesday, it will work out.

District 19-4A is probably going to do that unless they zone the district (which I don't think they are going to do).
THEdrpepper
how much per team?
dualdellortos
$250.00

Is this the best tournament in the STATE? Who else has a good tourney...I know Pine Tree used to...not sure now...any others?

Klein Showcase is good. So is the Creekview Go-to-Goal, but I don't know if they are doing that anymore since the coach left. Also, the Governor's Cup in Austin. And, of course, the Diadora Cup.

The Brenham 4A Showcase is a great 4A event, but it is being shelved for the 2008 season due to the HUGE 4A districts. No one can come!!!!!!! thumbdown.gif

It will be back in 2009 when the districts are fixed.

All are great tournaments with lots of quality teams.

So that means that 3A will have their own division finally? notworthy.gif

It means there will be smaller districts. There is currently nothing promised regarding a separate 3A conference in 2008-2009. Though we all know that 3A soccer is an eventuality
Wildcats
You know what that means BUFF. It's a start.

It is a start and that is better then nothing but it would be nice to see the UIL bite the bullet and give us our own division.

I think if you told schools in the fall that the following realignment we would have our own division I think you might be shocked to see how many 3A schools start a new program. Yes, they will start new programs if we have our own 3A district but you still are put in the 4A bracket when it comes playoff time. A team like Athens or Palestine in a 3A district will not get us ready for the playoffs. Nothing against 3A teams but it isn't the same as playing Nac and the big boys. I know having a 3A district will generate more interest but having our own division would accelerate the process.

Anything would be better then having this huge districts.

you guys did so good against 4a teams and you shouldn't worry at all. you guys will be fine with the big boys.
