I've been reading some crazy hints and tips all over the internet and it's outrageous. I want to know if there is any tips people should know heading into the season?

I don't even concern myself with fantasy football until training camp has started. You don't really know how the teams are going to use their newly drafted rookies or newly acquired free agents until training camp at the earliest. ESPN will release their top 100 list and top 25 lists for each position around then, as will Yahoo, CBS Sportsline, Sporting News, etc. Look at all of them and then come up with your own drafting system, and prepare to dominate.
Free hint, always draft a running back first unless Peyton Manning is there for the taking, and even then don't take him if LT or LJ are available.
yeah and don't draft a qb that will hurt himself running out of bounds (McNabb) in the first round.

McNabb won a lot of games for guys before he got hurt. Was looking like a fantasy god untill the injury if I recall. You cant draft anticipating injury. Unless it is Fred Taylor. Even he has done better.
true...I wasn't serious he won't many games but my season came to an end when his did.

I did sense bitterness. I think it is clear to avoid him this year anyway.

Don't enter a league until a week or two before the season starts. You never know who's going to get hurt before the season starts. I entered a fantasy league very early and picked Ricky Williams with my 1st pick the year he decided to start a 2nd career smoking dope! There went my top running back.
lol...well on NFL.com you can start a team as late as 8 weeks in so it's practically cheating cause you can get a feel for who's doing good and who is a bust.
