I am looking for a camp or someone who does not charge an extremely high fee (I am a teacher, after all!) for my 15 year old son this summer. He is inteested in joining the golf team next year, but does not know enough about the game to do well. Please reply to this post or u2u me with any information.

Oak Hurst golf course in Bullard puts on a free clinic for a day for kids every June. You can call 903-894-7079. They should be able to help you, especially if he is a beginner.

Let him learn the rules of the game and not just the mechanics. To me, golf is more than a game. It is a test of character and self respect. I think I enjoy playing golf so much because of this and he may as well.
