So who is 11aaaa looking to add if paris and north lamar move down??

ha .... absolutely amazing. lost the first game of the season and then went on a run, winning all of them till they got beat by

Pflugerville last week, who beat Abilene today to play Katy in the State Championship next Saturday. just fyi, that Abilene team had been ranked real high all year and had beat'n Southlake Carroll to play Pflugerville and were favored. Pflugerville won 20-14.

So in essence, Longview's only loss in 5a, minus the season opener, could be to the eventually 5A state champs.

but i dunno, Katy is GOOOOD. they beat San Antonio Madison out of region 4, 66-21 yesterday to play Pflugerville in the title game.

but back to longview, ya there a great 5A team, and they might be 4A next year. crazy.

but basketball on the other hand .... whitehouse beat them by 60 points, 84-24 .... so they arnt that great.

I would love to see Longview in the same district as Texas High.

I bet a lot of 12-4A would love to see longview Not with them

Texas High should be really good the next two years, you gotta watch those guys, they are silent but deadly. If they can get a couple of key positions developed, watch out...

Yes 11-4A probably won't get Longview , they will probably end up in 12-4A with Kilgore and Marshall. ALthough I could see them moving Texas High down to 12-4A and adding Royce City , Greenville and Terrell to 11-4A

What will they do with 16AAA? This could be a mess if Paris and N/. Lamar move down and New Boston moves up. That will make a crowed district. Also, it would make the enrollments very unbalanced. Paris and N. Lamar will almost have twice the number as most of the schools in 16AAA except for LE and they would still have over 200 more than LE. It would be a lot like T. Highs district currently. It’s obvious there need to be at least a 6A division.

guess we'll know in feb. longview in 4A will certainly be a force to deal with no matter where they land.

I would think this makes the most sense for both 12 and 11.
