i always try to look at who the teams are playing first and then if the game will be outside/inside/home/road. if it's an outdoor game, check the weather. gates would always be in for me, so would wayne. manning is hard to beat, but i've got him in a couple of leagues and he hasn't exactly lit it up lately. defense and kicker would depend more on the above.

yeah Gates has not done well the last couple games but he's one that could explode at any moment. the Steelers defense has not done much lately either that's why i'd take my chances with the Giants.

my son finished 1st in our league during the season. he had Brady, Moss and B. Edwards. they all played in crappy weather last week

Jamal is hot right now. Whether Parker or Barber, I would say Barber, BUT will he get the carries? 7 carries last week. So probably Parker.

I have Peyton and Derek, and the 1 week I started Derek, he disappointed. So I would say go with the proven starter. This has not been a banner year for Peyton, but solid.

Jennings and Wayne are pretty reliable at WR. Chad can have great weeks and then...

Steelers D.

Gates I guess. I have Witten, so I haven't had to worry about choosing.

Kickers. Well, it's the field goals that matter, so which team will get more of those opportunities? I guess Bironas, but that's a toss up depending on how the games go.

I'm leading my league, but it is not a playoff league, they have us just playing through the end of the season.

yeah i think Parker or Barber is the biggest debate here. i'd lean towards Barber because of Romo's thumb. Parker does lead the league in rushing with over 1300 yds. but he only has 2 td's and that was earlier in the year. Barber has close to 900 yds. and 9 rushing td's and 2 receiving.

let me ask this. which one would you start out of these 3

Barber
Parker
F. Taylor

Fred Taylor

i'm just glad now i didn't start Parker.

i have Barber in my lineup now but i may change
getchapopcorn
who would you start here? Peyton Manning at home against Houston or Derek Anderson at Cincy. last time the Browns played Cincy Anderson had a huge game. although Dungy says he plans to play his starters as normal i worry since the Colts have nothing left to play for in the regular season. i'm still leaning towards Manning though because you never know what the weather will be like in Ohio.

Fred Taylor is on a roll. Marion Barber is one of those fantasy guys where you never know what you are gonna get.

If this were earlier in the season, I would say look and see who is replacing Parker. Sometimes the sub (remember how Ryan Grant did) works out pretty good...

But yes, good thing you took Parker out. If you have to start 2 RBs, then I guess that makes it automatic now...
