How do think your school came out? Thoughts about next Fall?

Kilgore loses 3 teams(Pine Tree, Hallsville, Marshall) from the old district, but none of the teams finished in the top 3. We picked up Lindale, so that is a tough opponent. The district will be competitive with Kilgore, Nac, Jacksonville, and Lindale all being in the same district. I think the biggest disappointment is that we stayed region 2. The only positive is that we don't have T-High in our district. I think Lindale, Kilgore, and Jacksonville will be the top 3 next Fall.

I'm appaled at the new allignments. It will shake up a few 3A tennis powerhouses, I believe. Region 1: Wylie, Vernon in addition to WIMBERLEY and former 4A tennis powerhouse, Fredricksburg. Region 1 will be loaded with talent in the next couple of years. Region 2 loses a lot of teams and didn't gain anyone too threatening as far as tennis goes besides Argyle, who has sent a few to state in 2A in the past and competed well in region 1 when they moved to 3A. We do lose Spring Hill who has proved to be a top Region 2 competitor the last few years. Region 3 becomes tougher with District 17 (Gilmer, Bullard, Gladewater, Spring Hill, Tatum (former 2A), and Chapel Hill). Athens is back in Region 3 also.

So as far as tennis goes, Region 2 just got easier. Too bad I won't be here haha, but it will be interesting to see what happens in the next few years.

I predict that Texas High has two more team district championships in their future. Maybe I should happy65.gif but instead I am sick.gif . Pine Tree will provide the best challenge. Otherwise a very weak district.

I think Sulphur Springs will be the biggest competition, as far as next year is concerned.

No, Kilgore beat PT 19-0, Hallsville 19-0, and Marshall 19-0 this year. I think SS at least has some champ level players.

No, I don't think that they do. Wills Point beat SS like 18-1 earlier this year. Maybe they had some people out? SS shouldn't challange too many people in AAAA.

Wills Point would beat those other 3 teams 19-0 or 18-1.
