So what is everyone from 11-4A playing this Spring. From Sulphur Springs it is:

Boys Singles: Jordan Horne (got 2nd in District last year)
Girls Singles: Morgan McCormick (good player but doesnt try to hard)
Boys Doubles: Robert Stevens and Zack Adams (both sophomores that are very inconsistent but good players)
Mixed Doubles: Ali Jackson and Erich Hartin (they dont play that often but have gotten 3rd at Ennis and 1st at Greenville)

I would post the others but these people are the only ones that have a decent shot at going to regionals. So who's playing what at T-High and Lindale?

I thought Jordan said that he was moving far away last year. Also who beat him at District last year.

Texas High's Trey Brown won boys singles in district last year.

If Daniel and Grant both go the singles route (and as of right now they are...) then it probably wouldn't be a good idea to put your best guy up against those two. No one in this district will be able to hang with them.

However, Coach Watson has been known to change it up at the last minute.

Yeah Erich was going to try singles too but he heard both of the top 2 from T-High were playing singles. And Jordan really doesnt care if he makes it past district, I think he is just looking to get tennis over with.

Thats the attitude of a real winner. Maybe thats why he hasn't improved at all in the past 4 years.

I'd say he improved quite a bit up until he moved back. He just has other priorities in his life. Our whole team really isnt as motivated as we were.

Is Texas High playing in the Nac tournament? I know they probably think its an easy tuornament to win but us from Center love the competition! Its not everyday we play matches coming in as the underdog.

No, their shedule is posted on another thread. It is appears the theory is to play tournaments to enhance their seedings in regionals.
