I agree, but KG wasn't the MVP............Paul Pierce was the MVP. Glad to see the Lakers get hammered.

Back to Kevin Garnet, If you missed it. The female reporter was trying to interview the superstar after the game, the man got all choked up trying to talk, then KG went off on a profanity filled tirade that was bleeped out. I understand he is a emotional guy, but he just showed the whole country what a thug really looks like on live TV, thank god for the 7second delay. And we wonder where some young players get it from, they just act like this guy.

I was on my way home from work at the end of the game, so I didn't hear the KG interview. But I agree, the language doesn't belong on national sports tv.
Yeah, I know that I didn't mention "free" vs cable/dish, but I don't think that it belongs in either. However, I realize that the movies on our "STARZ" channels on Dish are uncensored. But, movies vs sporting events are different. Movies are rated before being released to alert the general populace. Sporting events shouldn't have to worry about a pre-game rating system.
Thankfully, the tv venues do a pretty good job on the "bleep" button.
I used to detest the Celtics back when Wilt and the 76er's were trying to get past them into the FINALS. However, I became a Celtics fan when Bird, McHale, and Parish joined them. After the Mavs, Rockets, and Spurs were knocked out of the playoffs, I then pulled for Boston.
Congrats to the guys. KG, Pierce, and Allen getting their first title after years of futility was definitely a special moment. And it was even okay to see Danny "whinny" Ainge get his dues.
Now, COME ON MAVS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do what it takes to get the RINGS next season.

The team of my youth (and only NBA team I might watch) wins #17, on June 17th........with Hondo (John Havlichek who wore 17) in the crowd watching. That is why Boston basketball is special.

CAPTTIGER, you said it!!! Great win for the CELTS!! Great to see all of the Celtic legends at the game, and to see Russ hug Garnett. Also awesome to see my favorite of all time Hondo#17/John Havlicek. Cannot believe that he is 68 years old. Went to the Hall of Fame ceremonies when he was inducted.

A thug? Just because he has foul language makes him a thug? Give me a "bleeping" break. Oh wait, i just cussed... Does that make me a thug? Get off your high horse. That is by far one of the most ridiculous comments here on Smoaky.
