Sounds like somebody wants to start some trash talk already! shpanther unless you play tuba, I would would'nt even start, and if you do, better come loaded for bear!

Hey let's not count out all the other bands in the region who have tuba players. Spring Hill and Carthange have really good tubas, and that's just me hearing them play marches (not a challenging part). New Boston, Hughes Springs, White Oak, Linden Kildare, Elysian Fields, Gladewater also has good tubas just to name a few that have made it in years past. You mention a Pittsburg tuba player? I don't recall anyone being an outstanding tuba player from Pittsburg since Mr. Hawkins back in the late 90's. He made it to state several times. Let's not get arrogant about this until All-Region. Besides, as Pitt knows, anyone can have a bad performance. Something to think about.

Well, besides 3a, in 2A, Tj Delaney can compete with any tuba player in Texas, he got first shair all-state. And also Josh Whitlock, he made all region and should make all state this year both from Union Grove.

Nobody is getting arrogant from Pitt, just stating a fact that Tevin Harris is an All-State tuba player.

I agree Tevin is an amazing Tuba player. But do you have any knowledge of the other players in Texas? One persons accomplishments can seem imaculate when there is nothing to compare them with. But im sure lots of other people have introduced lots of tuba players just as good if not better. Than Tevin. But then again regardless of the other peoples veiws you will only see things the way you want them. Thats a general pitt adittude am i right?

Those of you talkin about Tevin are from Pittsburg, therefore I think it is a somewhat biased statement. There was a good 3A tuba player last year, but I think he graduated. His name was something Addington. Not sure where he was from?

Well why would you quote my reply to make that statement. I said that Tevin is a good tuba player, but im sure there are better around.

shpanther wasn't trying to trash talk at all. He only said is he'll see how good he is at all region. Thats no trash talk, so why do you have to try and turn it into that.

Im sorry I was reffering just to you. I was just making a general statement. Sorry for not being specific.
