What Middle School coaching staff do all you feel has their team ready to play every Thursday without any mental mistakes, penelties, etc.

Coach Hobbs in Kilgore........hands down

Lindale JH has had one of the best staffs for the last 20+ years in Jack Johnson and Kerry Stanley. They get their players ready to play, and ready for life as well. It also helps that they have been there a long time. This increases stability and students understand the expectations.

Great job men. You are a big reason why I am now in the business.

I'll brag about the junior high coaching staff at Carthage. They are an awesome group of men - in the classroom, as well as on the field. The junior high is where all the teaching begins, coaching the boys to play as a team. Not taking anything away from the high school coaches - who are just as great - but the state championship won at the high school level this year began at the junior high. They just finished the job up there!

I'm glad this thread was started (back in October). I don't think junior high coaches get anywhere near the credit they deserve for their hard work and dedication - all the hours they put into teaching, coaching, scouting, breaking down game films, etc. In fact, most the time they are completely overlooked and underappreciated. And that's a shame.

I don't know about middle school coaching staff...but Frachiseur at Redwater is great for and with the boys. This years 8th grade football team tied for first in their district with a 7-0-1 record. Last year, they won their district with only one preseason loss. He also coached their track team the last two years...if my memory serves, they haven't lost a meet yet!

i would say Hallsville, their records are always good and winning. But when they get to HS the record bumps down a bit.

I couldn't agree more, having played for both Coach Johnson and Coach Stanley, I can say that these men not only are great coaches but great examples as well, it's been a privilege to play for them.
