Ethan Hodde, Sr. P.G.
He was first chair in state as a junior, I think in Alto, and has made 1's in State solo. He has qualified in other instruments for area, as well. I don't have all his exact stats, but I know they're among the best of any musician to come out of the school in a while.

I recuse myself. That judgement goes to to the judges at the contests and Competitions. They seem to disagree. I won't speak for them, but the chair placement and his peers opinions may differ from yours.
I have not heard them play head to head much.

I'm sure his parents would get a kick out of that. I guess rich is relative to the 2 parties in question.

I asked my child and her 2 best friends........They said Ethan gets more awards because he wants them, Kevin plays for the music and himself. They all 3 said if you started a band you would pick Kevin first.

Not to make assumptions of people based on names, but your profile says you're a female. So either you're kidding, or your profile is just silly...
or you're borrowing someone else's profile...

Well, personally, I think I'M the best saxophone player. If you ignore the fact that I play flute, can't make a sound that doesn't make your ears bleed on a saxophone, and the fact that the saxophone probably wears more than I do. ;D
Honestly, these posts are pointless and will just make people mad. You know they're going to say, "OMG I THINK MINES BETTER THAN URS CAUSE ITS MINEEEE". I mean, honestly, have you even heard all of the saxophones in 3A play? I think not. Plus, each saxophone player will have different abilities and flaws so it's hard to judge them all playing one piece of music.
Using flutes as an example, take Jessica. She was, what, 7th chair in band from chair tests? But she could play her All-Region music well (she made 2nd chair in the middleschool one). Cheyenne plays very very well, but she didn't even make alternate.
So you know what? All the people in band are good. Just in different ways. No, I take that back, some really can't play and they don't even care about band (there's a trombonist at my old school who can hardly play the B-flat scale and he's a freshman.) But you get my point right? I hope someone does. I really need to shorten these comments up. Ethan, if that is your page, it scares me.

Area results from last week, Saxaphone: (Alto, I believe)
1: Ethan Hodde PG
2: Kevin Sutton PG
Same as the regional results.
