48 Fans I'm happy for you guys, but I never thought I'd get bored with nascar........too late. I hate to say it but I was rooting for the 99. Yeah I know, I have been a 24 fan & HMS guy and still am, but Carl shows me more qualities than JJ.

I'm not knocking Jimmy , but without Knanus the true brains behind the outfit he'd be just another driver.

You can actually say the same about Carl. Bob Osborne is flat out genious (dang I wish I could spell on Mondays!) He has made some amazing calls at the end of quite a few races when it looked like Carl would not finish better than 2nd or 3rd. Jimmy and Carl are both really good race car drivers and both have really amazing teams behind them. Either one could have won this championship. Carl will have his turn next year, I think he will be even better than this year.

You know, I'm not a Jimmie Johnson fan by any stretch of the imagination, but I can't deny the kid has talent.


I never thought I'd say this, but I actually miss seeing Jeff Gordon winning races. Anyone else think it's wierd that he went this whole season without a win?

It was kinda strange to have a whole season without a win by JG. But, i dont mind to much, because i'm not a JG fan by any means! LOL But it is kinda hard to hate a guy who doesn't win races. Hopefully he will win a couple races next year, just to make things interesting. If Jimmie wins a 4th championship next season...i think i might shoot my TV.
