Once again Tevin Harris From Pittsburg got first chair at area, no surprise there. Who else made it???

TJ Delaney - Tuba (3rd Year in a row)
Wade Russell - Trumpet

TJ Delaney is a great tuba player as well. They both deserved to make state if you ask me.

New Boston had John Turner as basoon, made first out of 3.

They are both great players. Russell just had some some weird situations and problems around the time of All-Region. He finally overcame those this year.

PG: Ethan Hodde and Kevin Sutton 1 & 2 in Area for Sax, Greg Payne (Jr) 4th on Tuba.

One Freshman Clarinet made 12th in Area, will not go, but should when older.

Congrats to Wade and TJ. Both are good friends of mine.

Also, Gladewater had Daisy Wallace make state on Tenor Sax. Congrats Daisy, way to represent your town and family well

I think Ethan Davenport from Pittsburg got 2nd at area, he wont be advancing to state but he did a very good job. Good job Ethan.

turns out that New Boston also had Heather Maiden who made 1st chair clarinet ... congrats every one!

The only percussionist from region 4 were Box from Gilmer and Boyce from Clarksville. Congrats to every one

Yeah, I'm a sophomore tuba player at Union Grove, I play under Tj, and I feel very privaleged to be learning from him, he is a great player.

I actually got 2nd at AREA on Alto Sax..but didn't advance..they only took one to state..but it definately wasn't my best audition that day either..i really regret it.
