In the words of Smoaky, "There is no way any of us can get Republicans and Democrats to agree, or Aggies, 'Horns, and Sooners either" ... so the "wide open" policy was instituted for administrator/moderators to be a little more tolerant to so-called "trash talking" so as to avoid suspending or banning any member. It was NEVER intended to become the sheer carte blanche in which it has morphed. "Wide Open" means "Wide Open" ON TOPIC.
PLEASE do not confuse trash-talking/good old fashioned chest-thumping with being blatantly abusive.
Starting today, the following posting habits found in the Big 12/College Sports and/or Political forums will be immediately deleted & the author of the post will receive a PM explaining the deletion (multiple PMs could result in suspension at the administrator/moderators' discretion):
- Censor Bypassing
- Flaming
- Any OFF-TOPIC posts that snowball the thread out of control & into a back-and-forth one-upmanship "turf war"
- C h i t-Chat
- Publically Challenging Administrator/Moderator decisions
Per Smoaky: Any member(s) who attacks a decision made by our mods and admins should be suspended for a minimum of 30-days.
Questions? Concerns? My PM inbox is always open . . .
