A lot of coaches feel these early meets are important. So where you heading at the end of Febuary and the begining of March? And does anyone know who is signed up for Pine Tree in particular?
Colmesneilfan1

Union Grove is going to Hawkins on March 7.

Hope moving to day light helps. PT has been one of the slowest run meets. Somebody went to sleep between events. May have been just row 4 in the stands but it looked like they all were dozing.

Moving it to daylight didn't help at all. It was still ran slow today. They are probably just now starting the mile relay. I left after the VB 200m dash.

Lots of teams were there: Tx High, Tatum, Chapel Hill, Marshall, Kilgore, Mt Pleasant, Gladewater, Liberty Eylau, just to name a few.

They said results would be posted on line. Where? The first 3 places made the LNJ. I would bet that Pine Tree turned in 6 and it was cut back to 3 by the LNJ. LNJ does't know they give points for 6 places. Congratulations to Pine Tree on being fast enough to get the results to the LNJ for the next day.

Also no results for the Junior Varsity. Is this posted on line somewhere?

A correction to the results posted in the LNJ on the Spring Hill meet. Spenser Lynn of White Oak won the 1600 meter race with a time of 4:34. Maybe he was omitted because he was the only runner from WO there, so they weren't officially entered as a team.

Hank just the name White Oak probably had more to do with it.
and the LNJ was so busy trying to omit place 4-5-6 they got it too.

Who really cares in East Texas whether #24 Butler beat Cleveland State 58-56 if they were looking for space for the other places.
