Anyone know of any youth and Jr. High level summer basketball leagues in the area? My boys will be going into 5th & 7th grade next year and want to play. Just looking at my options instead of having to get a team together and travel to Dallas this summer.

This would be nice, unfortunately most people have put their basketballs in the closet till next year. By the way your team looked really good this year in the Brook Hill league, your high school coach is very lucky to have you work with those boys. I think we have decided to just travel to Dallas and play, it's too hard finding guys around here to commit to basketball during baseball season. If you hear of a league let me know.

Thanks, we enjoyed the Brook Hill league. The team your son was playing on has some skilled players, they were just younger than some of the teams. Next year they will be very salty. I think our team is done for a while, most have already gone on to baseball and one is playing with the Tyler Trojans. I let you know if I find anything else.

Last year Brownsboro, Van, and Martins Mill put together round robin league for Junior High & JV boys during June. I don't know what the plan is this year but you may check around there in Van. Last year my son 13 yrs old played for the JH boys and the JV boys which was a challenge but thats how you get better.
