I'd rather play at Tour 18.

I've played my whole life and never seen anything like that - really cool. I wonder if you can still track the ball at that distance. I would think that you would lose it and have no idea where your ball ends up. Plus $220 sounds like a bargain.

BTW Dave - tour 18 is not even in the top ten in the metroplex area. If you want to go play a real golf course tackle stonebridge in McKinney on a windy day...

That's insane. Sure hope your not afraid of heights going way up there.

I would love to do that but I would never even get it close. It would be awesome just to say that you did it.

Just wondering...is there ever a day in McKinney that is not windy?? Grandparents were from there and it was always blowing!

Pretty much all the time..... I played in a college tournament (in Oklahoma) once where they had to suspend play because the wind was blowing so hard (gusts to 55 mph). It was so windy you had to lay your bag on the ground, you had to scream at the guy right next to you and the wind would just blow the ball off of the green. One hole, right before they suspended play, I 7 putted - no reason to think I might not stand there all day and never make the 20 footer from the fringe. The only good part was that if you hit it hard enough it had two chances to go in - once on the way by and again on the way back....
